The light in Paris is unparalleled (ok, the light in Italy is also incredible, but different). This painting is from one of my trips to Paris and I just was moved by the spring light, the sun was setting behind the Pont de la Tournelle and it was just so stunning, it moved me to paint it once I returned home.
