Colors are my superpower

Hi, I’m Jess and I love making art!  Colors are my superpower and I have scored a zero (a perfect score) on the Munsell color test every time I take it.  Go ahead, go take it and come back.  I can wait.

That was tough, right?

Color and watercolor paints are my favorite. Currently I’m exploring luminous fields of color to evoke feelings and capture moments in life.  These are my sky paintings.  I create intuitively, meaning most of the time I don’t know where the piece is going until it’s done.

Favorite paint color right now is turquoise green… although it changes daily.

I grew up traveling the world in a military family (that would make me a military brat) and lived in New York City for 20 years before moving to the west coast.  These travels have inspired my artwork beyond words.  I have hometown pride for NYC (where Brooklyn at!?) and am that person that longs to live in Europe.

When I’m not painting, I like crafting cocktails, eating pasta, and watching action movies.
